Editorial Team
The Editorial Team of NUSALEGIS: Journal of Legal Studies is responsible for maintaining the academic quality, editorial integrity, peer-review standards, and publication management of the journal. The Editorial Team consists of academics and journal-management personnel with expertise in various fields of law, journal management, copyediting, production, layout, metadata, and digital publishing.

G. EDITORIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Editorial Team is responsible for supporting the academic quality, integrity, and effective publication management of NUSALEGIS. Its principal responsibilities include:
- evaluating manuscripts for relevance to the journal's aims and scope;
- conducting initial editorial screening;
- coordinating the peer-review process;
- selecting appropriate and independent reviewers;
- maintaining confidentiality throughout manuscript evaluation;
- assessing author revisions and reviewer recommendations;
- supporting fair and independent editorial decisions;
- maintaining publication ethics and research integrity;
- coordinating copyediting, layout, production, metadata, and digital publication.
H. EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE
Editorial decisions are based on academic merit, originality, methodological quality, relevance, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field of legal studies. Editorial decisions should not be influenced by commercial, financial, institutional, personal, political, or other inappropriate considerations.
I. EDITORIAL CONFLICT OF INTEREST
Editors should not manage or make decisions on manuscripts where they have a personal, professional, institutional, financial, academic, or collaborative conflict of interest. When a conflict exists, the manuscript should be assigned to another qualified editor.
