Article Processing Charges (APC)
???? APC Policy: NUSALEGIS: Journal of Legal Studies applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to manuscripts that have been formally accepted for publication. No payment is required at the time of submission, and payment of the APC does not influence the editorial or peer-review decision.

E. APC AND EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE
Payment Does Not Guarantee Acceptance
The existence or payment of an Article Processing Charge has no influence on editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's scholarly standards, Focus and Scope, Publication Ethics, and Peer Review Process. Acceptance is based solely on the academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, legal analysis, and scholarly contribution of the manuscript.
F. PAYMENT AFTER ACCEPTANCE
After the manuscript has been formally accepted, the corresponding author will receive information from the Editorial Office regarding:
G. OFFICIAL PAYMENT AND SECURITY
Authors should make APC payments only through the official payment method communicated by the Editorial Office.
NUSALEGIS is not responsible for payments made to unauthorized individuals, unofficial accounts, or third parties claiming to represent the journal without authorization. Authors who receive suspicious payment requests should contact the Editorial Office before making any transaction.
H. APC WAIVER OR REDUCTION
Requests for an APC waiver or reduction may be considered by the Editorial Office in exceptional circumstances, subject to journal policy and available publication resources. Any request should preferably be submitted before the manuscript enters the final publication stage. The consideration of a waiver or reduction is separate from the editorial and peer-review process and does not influence the decision regarding acceptance or rejection.
I. REFUND POLICY
Once an accepted manuscript has entered the copyediting, layout, production, or publication process, APC payments are generally non-refundable because publishing services and production activities have already been initiated.
Exceptional circumstances may be considered by the Editorial Office on a case-by-case basis.
J. WITHDRAWAL AFTER ACCEPTANCE
Authors requesting withdrawal of a manuscript after acceptance should follow the journal's Withdrawal Policy. Any financial implications relating to an accepted manuscript that has already entered the publication or production process will be handled in accordance with the applicable journal policy.
K. IMPORTANT PRINCIPLES
No payment is required when a manuscript is submitted.
APC is requested only after formal acceptance.
Financial considerations do not influence peer review.
Published articles remain freely accessible to readers.
L. APC TRANSPARENCY
NUSALEGIS is committed to maintaining transparency regarding publication charges. Authors will be informed of the applicable APC before payment is required. No undisclosed mandatory publication fee should be charged after the author has received official APC information from the journal.
