⚡ Open Access Summary: Journal of Business Application (JBA) is a Gold Open Access journal. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, granting free and permanent access to all content immediately upon publication. Readers may download, copy, distribute, and adapt articles for any purpose, provided proper attribution is given to the original authors.

A. OPEN ACCESS STATEMENT

Journal of Business Application (JBA) is committed to the principles of open access and the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities. The journal believes that immediate, worldwide, barrier-free access to research outputs accelerates scientific discovery, fosters innovation, and advances knowledge for the benefit of society.

All articles published in JBA are:

  • Immediately and permanently free to access, download, and read
  • Free from subscription or pay-per-view barriers for all users
  • Published under an open license (CC BY 4.0) that permits broad reuse
  • Digitally preserved through archiving services to ensure permanent access

All articles published in JBA are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This is the most open and permissive of Creative Commons licenses, recommended for maximum dissemination and use of licensed materials.

Scopus Compliance

CC BY is the preferred license for Scopus-indexed open access journals.

Legal Clarity

Provides clear, internationally recognized terms for reuse that protect both authors and users.

Scopus Requirement: Scopus requires that open access journals have a clear licensing policy. CC BY 4.0 meets the highest standards for openness required by major indexing databases including Scopus, Web of Science, and DOAJ.

D. AUTHOR RIGHTS

Under the CC BY 4.0 license, authors who publish with JBA retain:

Authors retain full copyright over their work. JBA does not require copyright transfer.

Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit all versions of their manuscript in institutional repositories, personal websites, or any other archives without embargo.

Reuse

Authors may reuse their own work in any way, including in books, courses, or subsequent publications.

Authors may authorize others to create translations, adaptations, or derivative works of their article.

Author Retention Statement:

"As an author of an article published in Journal of Business Application, I retain the copyright and all other rights associated with my work.
